Optimal protection of dry goods and crèmes.
The Dukat FoodGuard™ liner consists of two pieces temporarily bonded together: sealing membrane and cardboard or PE foam. In order to seal the container, the liner has to be glued onto the edge of the container. When unscrewing the cap both liner pieces come apart and give an audible 'crack' during separation. The customer who hears this audible ‘crack’ will be sure that the container has not been opened before. After opening, the cardboard remains in the cap as a secondary reseal. The reseal protects the product against contamination that can get into the product after the seal is removed.
Sealing helps to keep products fresh and edible for a long time. It also prevents them from pilfering and protects original products against tampering with their contents. Any printing on the sealing membrane helps to distinguish the brand and makes it difficult to counterfeit the product.
Caps need to be designed appropriately to ensure proper function of the Dukat FoodGuard ™ liners.
