The Dukat ChemiSeal™ liner consists of two pieces temporarily bonded together: sealing membrane and cardboard or PE foam. It is necessary to use an induction sealer to seal the Dukat ChemiSeal™ liner on the container. The membrane of Dukat ChemiSeal™ is difficult to puncture or peel from the container clean. After opening, the cardboard remains in the cap as a secondary reseal. The reseal protects the product against contamination that can get into the product after the seal is removed.
Sealing helps to keep products fresh and edible for a long time. It also prevents them from pilfering and protects original products against tampering with their contents. Any printing on the sealing membrane helps to distinguish the brand and makes it difficult to counterfeit the product.
Caps need to be designed appropriately to ensure proper function of the Dukat ChemiSeal™ liners.
